On May 28th, was Menstrual Hygiene Day around the world.

Here in Africa, this day serves as a crucial platform to address the social taboos, lack of access to hygiene products, and the persistent stigma surrounding menstruation.

As an NGO, we are working hard to promote education, provide essential resources, and advocate for policy changes that will create a more period-friendly environment. When women and girls can manage their menstruation with dignity, it empowers them to fully participate in all aspects of life.

Join us in this important effort to break the silence and normalize conversations around menstrual health. Together, we can work towards a future where no one has to miss school or forego opportunities due to lack of access to menstrual supplies or the burden of societal shame.
