We are pleased to announce the successful completion of a three-day capacity strengthening training for Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) facilitators and teachers in Danod and Bokh woredas.

The training was organized by OWS Development Fund with the generous support of the Hilton Foundation, focused on enhancing inclusive teaching methodologies for children with disabilities (CWDs), with particular emphasis on outreach activities to (re)enroll out-of-school children with disabilities, foundational skills development, and play-based pedagogy. In addition, facilitators were equipped with skills to support early interventions targeting the cognitive, motor, social, and emotional development of children with disabilities.

This initiative marks a significant step towards building more inclusive and supportive learning environments, ensuring that all children, regardless of ability, have the opportunity to reach their full potential.
